Six Sentence Story
We were strangers.
Then we became friends who spoke every day. We became inseparable
sharing our dreams, insecurities, laughing at our sorrows and made
promises of a bright future. Too many became jealous of our
relationship, we showed them how to grow stronger, not be furtive to
their ugly gaping selves because we were true to each other and the
people who mattered to us. Now you have your job to look after, and I
have mine too, the words “I’m busy now” which we used as an excuse are
becoming a sad truth. Maybe tomorrow we will find the precious time to
share a word or two.
